Fr. George Lardas is Assistant Rector at St. George’s Russian Orthodox Church since February 2019. Prior to this he had been Rector of St. Vladimir’s Russian Orthodox Church in Houston, Texas (1989) and St. Nicholas Russian Orthodox Church in Stratford, Connecticut (2000). Born (1953) and raised in Ann Arbor, Michigan, he holds a B.S. (1975) and an M.S. (1979) from the University of Michigan (1975) and is a graduate of Holy Trinity Seminary (1983) in Jordanville, New York. While serving the Church, he worked as an engineer and software developer for defense an aerospace contractors in the Boston area, Houston and Stratford. He married Ann McLellan of Boston (1985), and they have four grown children and two grandchildren.
