Thanksgiving Moleben & Stewardship

Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,
May the Lord bless you!

Holy Scripture instructs us, “Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights.” (James 1:17) We all have much for which to be thankful! It is good for us to join our country, pause the business of our lives, and give thanks to God for all that he has given us.

Join us this Thursday at 10 a.m. for a Thanksgiving Moleben and then join your family and friends, giving thanks to God for them and all the blessing you enjoy!

Stewardship begins with Thanksgiving — which is built upon an appreciation of the source of the many blessings and gifts we receive each day. Consider your responsibilities as a steward of St. George Russian Orthodox Church by reading our second Stewardship Letter here (in English first followed by a Russian translation): https://stgeorgeroc.org/2017/11/19/stewardship-series-letter-2/

Services this weekend are as usual: Confession at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday, followed by Vigil at 6 p .m. Divine Liturgy on Sunday at 10 a.m. followed by lunch and SundaySchool.

I pray you all have a blessed Thanksgiving!

In Christ,
priest Daniel
